Such an enjoyable tea. I have not always liked green teas but this one has subtle nuances of flavor , smooth and not bitter. Taking that first sip grounds and relaxes me. I’m really enjoying this tea a lot.

I am enjoying this light gently spiced tea for a late day pick-me-up.

Makes a beautiful gift

I have not tried this as it was a gift for a friend who has not been able to sample it yet. The packaging is lovely and the description enticing. I hope to try it myself one day.

Kanchanjangha Tea Estate and Research Center Pvt. Ltd. (KTERC). KTERC is the first certified organic tea garden in Nepal that was established in 1984 by Mr. Deepak Prakash Baskota to rid his community of poverty. It remains a model social enterprise still today, that runs on cooperative infrastructure and is truly focused on the people and planet before profit.

The production process of our green tea, Kanchanjangha Verde, is used in this blend. All of the other ingredients in this green tea blend are also produced in Nepal and in our own farm by our local farmers.

The idea for these green tea came when we were opening our first tea bar in Nepal and wanted to experiment with tea blending which was not a common thing in Nepal until even a few years ago.

These loose leaf tea bags are perfect for anyone who is looking for an herbal blend that has very low caffeine. Its fruity and floral mix is sure to delight children and young adults who might not be prepared for the delicacy and/or complexity of pure teas.
