Hand-plucked during Nepal’s most fleeting moments of beauty.
A tea that captures the soul of eastern Nepal after rain - fresh, misty, and alive.
Spring Beauty is our experimental white tea, made only during the first and autumn flush, when the tea bushes offer their most delicate leaves. These aren't just any leaves, they're the in-between flush leaves (picked between 1st and 2nd flush), prized for their soft, youthful character.
Unlike most teas, which are dried once, Spring Beauty undergoes 3 to 4 rounds of slow, gentle drying. This extended process brings out the layered complexity of the leaf while preserving its light, elegant spirit.

Why It’s Called Spring Beauty?
The dry leaves look like Ilam in early spring, mist-covered, freshly green, and alive. That post-rain freshness? It’s right here, in every cup. The name honors the look, feel, and energy of the landscape itself. Spring Beauty is especially good if you're seeking something clean, light, and grounding.
Meet Nikesh: The Heart Behind the Leaves
Nikesh was 16 the first time he stepped into a tea field. The job? Pruning. It sounds rigorous for a 16 year old, but even then he understood the art of pruning is important to better grow and develop the tea plants. Since then he’s done it all - pruning, strict field labor, factory floors, and now an accomplished tea maker. We have carried several teas from Nikesh. Some of the most loved being Prathama the first flush white tea and Rose Label Reserve. The world of tea is fascinating to me. Nothing has been more fun than making my own tea. It takes a lot of emotional commitment to make a tea and I welcome each season as a personal challenge and opportunity.
