Crafted with quiet precision on the hills of Nepal.
Muscatel tea is famously known as the hallmark of Darjeeling’s second flush, a flavor born from seasonality, altitude, and craft. While Nepal and Darjeeling share the Himalayan foothills and similar harvest rhythms, Lwang Tea reveals a distinctly different muscatel expression, one that challenges long‑held assumptions.
Trained in Darjeeling, our tea maker follows the same orthodox techniques, seasonal discipline, and sensory standards used in the world’s most respected gardens. Every decision from withering to oxidation to firing is intentional, restrained, and quality‑driven.
At an average altitude of 1,500 meters, with four snow‑peaked Himalayan mountains standing directly ahead, Lwang produces a natural muscatel character without thrips infection and without aggressive firing.
This is not imitation. It is terroir speaking for itself.
