Testimonials

This first flush black tea has bright yellowish orange appearance with flowery aroma with lifted notes of unripe stone fruits and slight hints of nuttiness. It is a medium bodied liquor that fills the entire pallate with sweet honeydew and vibrante floral characters. Slight plesant astringency fills the back pallet and lingers for quite a while.

This is hands-down the best tea I have ever had in my life! Traveling to the farm in Phidim and following the journey of the leaf to cup has been a life-changing and life-enhancing experience. This first flush will always remain special for me. If this is not the best tea in this world, I don't know what is.

First Flush: Why is it Unique?

The cool, high-altitude mountainous regions of Nepal provide the ideal growing conditions for tea bushes, which thrive in the well-draining soil and moderate temperatures. Although India has its own first flush teas including Darjeeling first flush and Assam first flush, Nepal’s first flush teas are quite unique and distinct because the tea plants in Nepal are much younger and the terrain is much rougher.
